Gateway Pole
The gateway pole, or gantry pole, consists of two bases placed on either side of the road and a continuous arm that serves as a mounting point for signs or cameras. Signs used for navigation are typically installed 300 to 500 meters before intersections to assist drivers in route selection.
Depending on the road width, the gateway pole can have two or three bases. These bases have an octagonal structure and are coated with galvanized material to resist rust and corrosion. The standard lifespan of these poles, considering environmental factors such as humidity and coastal conditions, ranges from 20 to 35 years.
It is worth noting that Nik Noor Company is also capable of producing large, multifunctional gantry poles with the ability to mount variable message boards (VMS).
