Camera poles
Nowadays, given the traffic issues in urban areas, streets, highways, and intercity roads, the presence of camera poles and traffic/security cameras is more necessary than ever. Speed dome cameras, bullet cameras, license plate readers, traffic counters, and speed control cameras are among the types of cameras installed to ensure security and enforce traffic laws in cities and on roads. To properly utilize these cameras, achieve the right angle, increase field-of-view range, and reduce public access, the use of various designed camera poles and bases is required. Camera poles and bases have specific features, some of which are described below:
Camera Pole Features
- Height: The height of camera poles starts from 2 meters and, depending on the installation location, weather conditions, field of view, and customer requests, can increase up to 30 meters. Additionally, the tip vibration of such poles is typically considered to be less than 2 centimeters in 100 km/h winds. It should be noted that pole designs can be tailored to any wind speed and vibration tolerance.
- Body Structure: The polygonal shape, larger cross-section, iron sheet thickness, and structural design of the pole all contribute to greater resistance against physical impacts and strong winds. These features generally make them among the most professional types of camera poles.
- Assembly Method: Pole assembly, based on customer orders, can be carried out in two ways: Flanged (Connected using flange plates, bolts, and nuts.) Or Overlapping, where Pole parts are pyramid-shaped and fitted into each other with two non-identical diameters using specialized tools.

- Coating Type: To prevent rust and corrosion on the iron sheets used in products, protective coatings are applied either through hot-dip galvanizing, where the product is immersed in a zinc bath, or by using paint coatings such as alkyd, epoxy, and polyurethane, applied through air-dry painting and spraying a mixture of paint and resin.
Camera Type: Nik Noor Company offers the production and supply of various camera poles designed to meet the needs of partners, suitable for fixed cameras, movable (speed dome) cameras, and license plate readers.
- Projector Installation: As darkness falls and the visibility of cameras mounted on the pole decreases, a light source is needed to provide the necessary illumination for the cameras at night. Therefore, the camera pole must be capable of accommodating one or more projectors to ensure adequate lighting.
- Arm Attachment: Depending on the installation location and the intended use of the pole, various arms in different designs can be added to the poles.
- Ladder Installation: A ladder is installed to facilitate access to the camera for maintenance and repair operations.

Camera Pole Pricing
The price of a camera pole varies depending on its features, which has always been a significant concern for our partners, leading to questions like “Why is one pole cheaper or more expensive than another?” Factors influencing the price of a camera pole include its height, type of coating, iron sheet thickness, order quantity, component quality, upper and lower diameters, whether it has arms and their length, assembly type (overlapping or flanged), number of cameras, attached accessories, and overall weight of the pole.
You can contact Nik Noor Company’s experts 24/7 to ask any technical questions and also get updated information on camera pole prices.
